Set in lush natural landscape, Garth Barns and Country House is an established retreat venue noted for its peaceful atmosphere, stylish comfort and high standards.
At the heart of the venue is the superb, light filled studio with a smooth oak floor and underfloor heating, perfect for yoga, workshops and group practices throughout the year. Just behind it lies the Dingle, with its majestic trees, lush mosses and a group meditation situated beside a beautiful, tranquil cascading stream.
Accommodation has been thoughtfully designed for comfort and rest. With 16 ensuite rooms and 2 further rooms, up to 24 guests may be comfortably accommodated for yoga and mat based practice, and up to 30 or more for wellness, meditation, teaching and transformational retreats.
Retreat bookings for smaller groups are often available too. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and ideas.
Set within some of the UK’s finest walking country, the estate offers guests a sauna and the revitalising thrill of wild swimming in a private lake. The 230 acre grounds also include both ancient and newly planted woodland, open hilltops, and pathways that follow babbling streams, all waiting to be explored.
