Garth Barns & Country House includes two converted barns, Hafod Barn and Ty Nant Barn, as well as the original Garth Country House, all set at the heart of the Garth Farm’s 200 acres of unspoilt, natural countryside.
Hafod Barn, Ty Nant Barn and Garth Country House together sleep up to 50 guests and include 18 bedrooms in total, of which 16 are ensuite, as well as full kitchens and an abundance of living space in each.
The venue benefits from beautiful uninterrupted countryside views, large gardens and direct access to fantastic walking and hiking opportunities. There is also a gym, sauna, fire pit, private boating lake and various other facilities available for guests’ exclusive use on site.
Typically, two or all three properties are hired together. However, venue hire is flexible to your individual requirements and, subject to availability, single property hire may be possible in order to accommodate smaller groups.
Hafod Barn
Hafod Barn is an original stone barn which has been beautifully restored and converted to provide a high quality, modern venue featuring large, open plan living spaces, comfortable ensuite bedrooms and a flood of natural light throughout.

Ty Nant Barn
The second of the two converted barns available for hire, Ty Nant Barn is an original stone barn which has been beautifully restored and converted to provide the perfect mix of rustic countryside feel and modern comfort. Lovingly restored to preserve the original features of the barn’s exterior, Ty Nant makes for the ultimate country escape experience.
Key Features: 6 bedrooms (all ensuite), sleeps up to 18, living room, fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining area, utility room, elegant and rustic countryside decor and features, two terrace areas with seating, large private lawn to rear – perfect for garden parties, relaxing and playing sports
Garth Country House
Garth Country House was the Farm House of the Garth Farm, a private 200 acre estate in Mid Wales. Originally home to the owners, John & Veronica and their three children, Garth Country House was fully renovated and became part of the Garth Barns Venue in 2019. Garth Country House features endless original features (the rear of the property dates back to ~1600, and the front to 1870!) along with all the modern luxuries and comforts you might need as part of your stay.

Inclusions
Guests who stay at Garth Barns & Country house can expect a complete turn key home-from-home experience. Properties come with fully prepared bedrooms, bathroom essentials including towels, a hairdryer and basic toiletries, kitchen and utility essentials and are cleaned and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. While utilities such as heating and water are, of course, included, electric vehicle charging is by prior arrangement.
Special requirements for furniture arrangements can usually be accommodated to meet the bespoke needs of guests, however, it is essential that this is agreed prior to booking.
When hired on an exclusive basis, guests enjoy full and private access to the wonderful facilities at Garth Barns & Country House.

Each property at Garth Barns and Country House comes with fully equipped kitchens, utility rooms, ample living areas and dining spaces. Across the venue, there are 18 bedrooms, of which 16 have ensuite bath or shower rooms.
In addition to the wonderful accommodation, Garth Barns & Country House benefits from a spectacular range of facilities. This includes gym, sauna, a beautiful lake suitable for wild swimming, use of two large canoes (life jackets included and essential), fire pit with group log seating, BBQ cabana, extensive grounds, walking throughout our 200 acre private estate and beyond, the Garth Barns Treasure Hunt and ample parking for all guests.
Things to Do
The extensive facilities at Garth Barns & Country House provide plenty of opportunities for fun – both indoors and outdoors. Take a dip in the wild swimming lake, a hike across the estate or simply relax on one of many glorious terrace areas with friends and family.
The fun doesn’t end when it rains either – with plenty of indoor space and things to do to keep everyone occupied. Enjoy a game of pool, an energetic game of table tennis or perhaps a workout at the gym followed by a relaxing sauna is more your thing. However you intend to spend your day, there is plenty to offer as part of your stay.
